NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Beaver County Planning & Zoning Commission will

hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:30 pm, at the Beaver County

Administration Building at 105 East Center St., Beaver, Utah, at which time and place

The commission will hear public comments concerning the following:

Proposed Agricultural Protection Area for Jed Albrecht.

Proposed Ordinance Change: 2025-07: Amending the County Ordinance for Barking Dogs.

RFQ for Beaver City Municipal Airport

Beaver City, Utah (referred to herein as “Sponsor”), as owners of the Beaver Municipal Airport near Beaver, UT is requesting statements of qualifications and experience from consulting firms (“Proposers”) qualified and experienced in the field of airport engineering services.

The Sponsor plans to award a five-year contract for airport engineering services subject to review on an annual basis for any and all engineering projects subject to federal assistance under the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982 as amended, or other sources of funding.

The contract will be for the basic airport engineering consulting services as defined herein, Beaver City, or the Beaver Municipal Airport on behalf of Beaver City, reserves the right to inquire into the prospective proposal’s ability to provide professional services, as defined below, and to amend the Schedule of Projects and contract scope of work at the sole discretion of the Beaver Municipal Airport, on behalf of Beaver City, to include any or all of the below listed services.

Contemplated projects under this contract may include any of the following projects:

  1. Acquire Snow Removal Equipment
  2. Fueling Station Replacement/Upgrades
  3. Runway, Taxiway, Apron, Parking Lot Rehabilitation/Reconstruction
  4. Pavement Preservation
  5. Construct Taxiway and/or Taxiway T-Cup
  6. Hangar Construction
  7. NAVAIDs and Electrical Construction and/or Upgrades
  8. Fencing
  9. Property Acquisition

The above-contemplated projects are dependent upon federal AIP funding and approval of the Sponsor, so it shall be understood that some of the services related to the above-listed projects may be deleted and that the Sponsor reserves the right to initiate additional services not included in the initial procurement.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS FOR 2025

Pursuant to Section 52-4-202(2)(a), Utah Code effective 6/10/2025, Beaver City hereby gives notice that Beaver City Council will hold its regular meetings beginning in June on the following dates in the year 2025:

The Beaver City Council will meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Beaver City Center, 30 West 300 North, Beaver, Utah. The Council meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. to conduct public business. Should the regular meeting fall on a holiday, then the City Council Meeting will be held on the next day following that holiday except in July and December when there will be only one council meeting held.

Meetings will be held in the Beaver City Council Chambers, 30 W. 300 N., Beaver, Utah, starting at 5:00 P.M.

Persons or groups wishing to address the City Council must complete and submit an application no less than 7 days prior to the City Council Meeting date by 11:00 a.m. to the Beaver City Recorder.
